Yojoe.com unearthed a real gem today. It's the original presentation reel that Hasbro used to get retailers to buy into their radical new "Barbie for boys".... G.I.Joe!

The Canadian resin toy crew ( #toyronto ) is having a show in Philly @mothershipartgallery ! It's an impressive group of artists including most of the line up from last years Action Statue and several new additions. Check out Zombie Lab on Kickstarter. It's in it's last 12 hours. It's a 1:18 scale (4") action figure line of Survivors vs. Zombies. The sculpts are all by Boss Fight Studios and are compatible with their HACKS line of figures. http://kck.st/2wZicj5 (I will put this link in my profile as well) The project is spearheaded by Andy Wu, Boss Fight's chinese factory liason and distrubutor. He also has experience working for Mattel and Hasbro. The project is in good hands. The campaign is fully funded but has a few more stretch goals to hit. The "All In" option is an incredible value at this point. I can't wait to get my horde and pit them against my Joes. It will also be nice to finally have some civilians in this scale. My birthday present from @tarakrebsart back in April. The Boglins pin I was coveting from @cavitycolors comes in a tiny reproduction of the original toy box. The (incredibly comfortable) undies and socks from @sockittomeinc came in a delightfully personalized package complete with a sketch and a retro Mr. T card!

Tony is having a little misunderstanding with my new Synthetic Humanoid by @1000toys.

I got this for @tarakrebsart for her birthday a couple years ago. She kept recognizing the Princess of Power characters that I was getting through MOTUC, and we tracked it down to one of these old Colorforms Vinyl Play Sets. I found one still sealed from 1985. The MOTU library is growing! At this point it seems like Dark Horse has covered almost everything. I think one book based solely on documenting all the toys (in order of release) would finish off the set. #motu #motuc #mastersoftheuniverse
